Speaker bio:

Alex MacLean is the founder and CEO of East Coast Lifestyle, a brand that has become a symbol of Atlantic Canadian pride and entrepreneurial spirit. 

Established in 2013 as a class project at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, ECL began with a modest $800 investment from Alex's father. The initial run of 30 hoodies quickly gained popularity, leading to rapid growth and transforming the project into a full-fledged business.

Under Alex's leadership, ECL has expanded beyond apparel into various product categories, including accessories, fitness gear, and even food and beverages. The brand's commitment to quality and community has resonated with customers worldwide, earning recognition and accolades along the way.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavours, Alex is a passionate advocate for the East Coast lifestyle, emphasizing the importance of community, authenticity, and pride in one's roots.
