Nova Scotia Office of Immigration will introduce some of their programs and how these programs are brought to life.

Ding Fans

Ding has a master's degree in technology, entrepreneurship and innovation from Saint Mary University and earned Top 75 Canadian Immigrant and Top 25 Maritimes Immigrant awards in 2019.

In her role as Start-Up Visa Program coordinator at Innovacorp, Ding Fan oversees the recruitment and soft-landing of international start-ups, which includes helping them receive permanent residence and work permits from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. She has successfully supported 15 start-ups from around the world to settle in Nova Scotia. 

Ding also loves to give back to the community by helping more than 2000 students and immigrations, serving executives for Chinese Society of Nova Scotia and International Network Society, and coaching more than 50 students and immigrants to navigate their career. These engagements also make her a Nova Scotia Volunteer Award recipient in 2019.
