Course Description

Participants will be introduced to career development and the career planning process. They will explore each process step: dream, See, Get, and Do, and complete self-assessments to better understand themselves, help set goals, and build a career plan.

Learning Opportunity

At the end of this course, learners will be able to: 

• Identify the steps of the career planning process 
• Complete several self-exploration activities to help clients identify their skills, values, interests, aptitudes and personality traits 
• Use information gathered through assessments to identify relevant career fits 
• How to set SMART goals 
• Create a career plan with timely objectives
