Join us at the Delta Hotel by Marriott on February 17th from 9:00 to 3:30 for this hands-on training. Terrance Taylor leads this innovative training that will equip employment professionals, facilitators, and frontline staff with simple yet powerful tools to help clients tell more effective stories about their skills and lived experiences. Whether you're working with youth, newcomers, mid-career professionals, or those in a transition period, the goal is the same — to help them showcase who they are and what they bring to the table.

Terrence, originally from Las Vegas and now based in Nova Scotia, is a lifelong entrepreneur who started his first business at just five years old. Over the years, he’s built ventures in food, content production, and education — each inspired by personal experience and community connection.

An artist and educator at heart, Terrence shifted from digital storytelling to books and live events that bring people together for meaningful, human connection. His four books align with curriculum outcomes yet resonate with learners of all ages, pairing each story with an engaging in-person experience that leaves a lasting impact.

Participants will learn how to support clients in telling stories that highlight transferable skills, recognize prior learning, and frame lived experiences in ways that align with career goals, educational pathways, or entrepreneurial aspirations. These narrative tools help clients articulate their value in interviews, resumes, bios, and beyond — especially when traditional credentials don’t tell the whole story.
Structured into three dynamic phases — learning, application & implementation — the day combines proven storytelling frameworks with group facilitation, live coaching, and role-playing. The result is a practical and engaging experience that leaves practitioners energized and equipped to apply these tools in their day-to-day work.
