It has evolved into a representation of identity, pride, and strength.

This session breaks down the key traits that drive entrepreneurial success. Using real stories and clear strategies, I’ll dive into the mindset needed to turn ideas into action and action into momentum.

Alex MacLean is the founder and CEO of East Coast Lifestyle, a brand that has become a symbol of Atlantic Canadian pride and entrepreneurial spirit.

Established in 2013 as a class project at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, ECL began with a modest $800 investment from Alex's father. The initial run of 30 hoodies quickly gained popularity, leading to rapid growth and transforming the project into a full-fledged business.

Under Alex's leadership, ECL has expanded beyond apparel into various product categories, including accessories, fitness gear, and even food and beverages. The brand's commitment to quality and community has resonated with customers worldwide, earning recognition and accolades along the way.
